Hobe Sound

Hobe Sound is a small but quaint community located along Florida’s south Atlantic “Treasure Coast.” This area is located at the top of Palm Beach County and is one of the quieter cities on the “Treasure Coast.”  

Hobe Sound is an area dotted with small, friendly towns and unspoiled, pristine beaches. Hobe Sound is known for having some of the nicest beaches on the East Cost.  It’s very unique, the beaches along the Treasure Coast are sought out by nesting sea turtles, and you can join local tour groups to watch the creatures laying their eggs in the sand (April through August.)  But be careful, it’s illegal to touch or disturb the turtles or their nests.

Hobe Sound offers beach activities such as swimming, scuba diving, sunbathing and beach combing. There is also hiking, biking, nearby golf and flea markets, all while enjoying some of the most beautiful weather in the country. The town of Vero Beach with its upscale shops and fine dining is just a short drive from Hobe Sound. You are also only an hour to the major airports, and if you tire of the peace and quiet, the excitement and sophistication of Palm Beach is just a short drive south.
